When a golden heart stops beating

I love 99% of the people that I meet in my job  ( well there's always that 1% !!!  )
Seriously there great.  And usually while there waiting for the appointment they tell me a little about themselves
So over the last 18 months that I have been in my job I have heard quite a few stories...and some of the px come back every 6-8 weeks....so I get to know their life story .......
Take today....I'll call her my Frend...(cus truthfully I talk to em more than I talk to my frends )  lost her husband a while back...married for 50 years....(That's a life time for some)  she said
'I spose for sum they might be glad to b rid of em !!!!  But not me...he was my soul mate...my Frend...been togetha since we was teenagers'
She told me how he told her he wouldn't leave her and how she feels he hasn't...she tells him all about her day and what she's done...
'Bet ye think I'm mad don't ye ? ' she asks me
No I don't think you're mad....  I think u miss your soul mate very much indeed

When Death comes knocking..............

Yes this really sounds sad and depressing.  And I apologise in advance 

.but when we hear that someone has passed away, it stirs many emotions...grief..hopelessness... and theres more ....devastating....scary....lonely..numb ( sometimes we dont really know how we feel ?..how should we feel ? )..but ..all these things and many more..

But if theres one things that s for sure...its that it is going to affect us all at one time or another during our lifetime.....

Because a heart has stopped beating....

What I have learnt from my job over the last 14 months is that life is very special....and very short...( even if we are lucky enought to live til we are 100 !!! )   ask any 100 plus 

Most will tell you that their life has fled past and that 21 seemed only yesterday....

For a lot of people life is a lot lot shorter ( unfortunatley )

most through no fault of their own are snatched away in their prime...... ( some through abuse and ignorance )

Yes we could say well its their own fault....they should of done this or they shouldnt of done that....but we dont know their situation....the whys or whos

If there is a positive side to someone dying... it has to be a reminder to the rest of us that life is for living...

look around...the beauty that sorrounds us.... enjoy the experience ...make the memories....count your blessings   And theres more......

THANK THE LORD......

1m 89 how did that happen

There are some wonderful old people out there......and i'm sure most of them are wondering 
'how the hell did i get to be this age '




they all have some wonderful stories to tell...with most of them going through at least one World War !!
and if you ask them , most of them will be happy to tell you a tale or two 
    joking apart.....
the experiences they have been through make them the people they are,,,,experiences that we can only dream about or nightmare about !!!

Great old folk with lots to tell....so next time some old dear or old fella starts wittering on.....take a few minutes to listen to their tale...
chances are it will make you smile ....and at the very least it will make you think........


Old folks are worth a fortune,

I love this product

I have tried loads of different products..much the same as the rest of us

Some are good ..some are bad ..and some are down right ugly ( waste of money )

so when i find something that i think does what it sais on the can i like to share it....

For those of us who are blond ( either natural or bottle )  we sometimes like a little variation with our BLOND

So we go and spend hours in the hairdressers being bleached to within an inch of our lives and then continue to do this indefinitely for the foreseeable future!!!!!

Yes I have got to 53 years and to be honest havnt really done anything particularly outrageous..... 

sure I've done special things

having 5 beautiful healthy children ...who have to date produced 7 beautiful healthy grandchildren
all who continue to give me amazing lifetime memories   

dragged myself up, from the pretty dismal, appalling places that were home to me for most of the years of my childhood ( with the help of my husband ) turning awful memories into distant memories

held a job down for nearly 12 months ( now thats pretty amazing for me !!! ) remembering how impossible it seemed in the beginning ....


been on several amazing cruises....one in particular being extra special ( cuz it was just me, my daughter, and grandaughter ) making the most special memories....

did rock climbing in the middle of the ocean !!!! ( i was on a ship )  


so i am goin to make a bucket list...a list of things that i truly would like to do in the not to disant future.....some of which I'm sure i will do......some of which i will possibly do.....some which are doubtful and some which will be impossible !!!!

but neva say neva....

Touche Eclat Awakening Foundation

So I am trying a new foundation

So I noticed they were giving away samples of the new YSL foundation at my local Debenham store...

so the question is ....to try or not to try ????

  r u kidding   course try it...it dosnt cost anything !!!  lol

so i did....got to be honest it was like trying to get blood out of a stone....the snotty faced assistant (and i use the term loosely.....cus believe me she didnt want to assist me )  lmao

  errr not quite   close....almost....

~~I nearly had to remind her that it wasnt actually her that was giving it to me !!!!
But despit her best attempts to put me off I had my free sample....
tried it for several days...I dont wear loads of makeup but i do like it to look good.
My skin is very oily and i am over 50!!!  so quite a challenge
Well I'm pleased to tell you that I am very pleased up to yet.
Nice light weight product....easy to apply...very natural looking and surprisingly good cover
even more surprising lasted well on my oily skin, considering its not specifically for my skin type!!!
And yes ...i went back and purchased the full size product....30ml for £32
and happily i didnt have to deal with assistant of the year....

We all have bad hair days....come on admit it 😄
But some of us ( me 😯 )  just have not been gifted with very good hair...it's dead straight. ..fine...mousey 😡  and of late very dry ( due to over coloring ....well who wants to be mousey !!!!!   Just as well b ratty 😂😂😂😨)
Which is exactly how I get wen I try to put the comb through my hair after washing. ..
So yes I guess I try almost anything long as it's not too expensive 😯
Well I've just discovered a peach of a conditioner...not  expensive....so give it a go.
