Mudra 2

Good evening  Image result for good evening free images

So this is the 2nd of my blogs on Mudra....
this is not meant to be in any order of importance or any other kind of order.... just randomly picked
Hopefully this will reinforce my understanding!!!  ( I did say hopefully 🙈)
This mudra would of been really useful to have learnt years ago...if only I'd of known it!!

Also known as the Seal of Patience.
The tip of the middle finger and tip of the thumb come together uniting the elements of fire and connection, using just enough pressure to feel the flow of energy but not too whiten the fingertips. The remaining 3 fingers are straight but not rigid.

This mudra symbolises patience and discipline encouraging compassion, understanding and patience towards others.....helping to develop noble thoughts, turning negative emotions into positive ones.

this mudra can be especially useful if you feel yourself becoming impatient with someone/something.
benefits also include seeing through to the end of tasks.

ie.  if someone you are meeting is running late!  ( this is going to be practised a lot when I am waiting for my daughter! ) 😉

heel pain in yoga downward facing dog Adho Mukha Svanasana,

Adho Mukha Svanasana,  has been giving me a few problems...or rather my HEEL has when I attempt to do this asana!!!   which to say the least is getting on my nerves 😓
So I have been looking to see if any one else has this problem...
and these are some of the results that I have found...
(hopefully it may help some of my readers )

Image result for Adho Mukha Svanasana,I have had on a number of occasions what seems to be tiny ligament tears in my feet during stretching. It seems like there forms a weak spot, which over a period of weeks is annoying and occasionally painful if I am not careful when stretching. After having torn probably a dozen micro fibers over that time, after about 6 weeks it is healed and causes no problem again. It never bothers me during normal activities, only during stretching. I am just getting over one of these. I probably hadn't experienced it for 10 years. It's probably happened to me half a dozen times in my life.
( this is exactly how mine feels)
