WOW...its been too long

More than two weeks ( 15 days ) since my last post to be exact..








And what a busy 2 weeks its been...
a bit of a roller coaster emotionally to be fair..😟

it included a lovly holiday to portugal..😎😎🍹

A lovly family day out to an annual air show...🛪🛦✈✈

and 2 visits to our local hospital ( one a lot more worrying than the other )🏥🚑 (thank the Lord ...prayers answered )📿

and of course several trips for retail therapy .. 🛍

and of course several Costa trips for social and survival therapy..😉

so thats bought us up to speed ..... And there's more...

But not just yet....😘

So me n me lad had a lay in.....well till about 7.30

He'd  got college n I'd  got trainin...not my idea  of a fab day but hey...
Takes me an hour to get to the  trainin venue...
Pay £5 to park my car.

''They no longer use our establishment for  training,.  they've  moved.., emptied evrythin out...gone" the nice lady at reception  told me!!!
Ok ok...i get the message
"Didnt any one tell you?
Err... yes they did but i thought id cum to the wrong address anyway!!!!

Obviously not...... ''No''  I replied in the best tone i cud find!!
She made small chat with me...advised me I shud complain....   and that it wasnt very professionaletc etc...oh and just for an extra woosh....
''They had a big opening  day. ..surprised u didnt know about that !!!''
''No  no, I hadnt heard about that, oh well never mind. Dont spose they left a forwarding  address? '' I asked
''Oh yes they did somewhere, now where did i put it....''

Anytime today i am already runnng late......trying my hardest not to think out aloud....

n yes i know shes only tryin to help

 So then back to the hotel carpark to ggggrovel to the lady at reception to give me the £5 parking fee back as i dont need it now DO I ????

To cut a very long story short i couldnt find the bloody new training venue...i got completly lost....

. so after about an hour i decided to go shoppin instead.....

I need a plan

Phone the daughter/grandaughter.....I know the Debenham sales have started so here goes.....

Shops are manic..everybody loaded up..everybody after a bargain for xmas  including me lol

....but 1st thngs 1st......

  well its a bit early for a Chardonnay !!!!

A tragedy

Such a sad Story.....

I didnt think that today i would hear something so sad!!!!
It's just a normal bog standard Tuesday....u know the sort
* Alarm
* fall out of bed
* make the sandwiches
* shout til I'm horse ( neighhhh) to get the children n hubby up
* get em out...then make a start
* quick tidy up and thats just me ...dishwasher on, toilets flushed n bleach...
Hands washed shoes on, out the door!!!!
Yep its normal... and i wouldnt av it any other way
Costa it is then... what a way to start the day....delicious
So the young fella in front of me in the que is chattin away to the Barrister....obviously after some advice about the cakes!!! lol
This is my local and before too long the Barista has included me in the conversation too...
The young man is about 25, well spoken and very hansum....yes I'm allowed to say that, I have sons his age,  and as he walked away i noticed he had an prosthetic leg...
I suppose some people would think that was what i thought was sad...
and yes obviously it is sad....but you know the saddest thing was the conversation he was having with the Barista...
''No I havnt seen my family for a few years now''...
''I dont have any contact with them....i dont see any of them''
''My Mum?  no I havnt seen her either....we dont speak........''
who knows why.....there could be a million reasons why.....but so so sad......
I had my coffee and can truthfully say the conversation i had been witness to had an effect on me even i was surprised at...i have 4 boys....some who have families of their own....but I couldnt imagine my boys saying that, and i pray i will never give them cause,  but i can only imagine the pain i would feel....

Wrong Person...

I cant say I've actually done it myself,....(but theres always a first time !!)  

So I'm sat avin a Costa, minding my own business as u do...

browsin through my phone...as usual....and i am aware of someone slightly behind me but behind the barrier....i slowly turn my head .....and this woman is close enough that i can see the hairs on her chin ( jokin....she hadnt got hairs on her chin!!!)  but she was too close...

her jaw dropped

'' OMG...I'm really  ssorry, I thought u was my friend....I was just sneakin up on her....i was gonna say Boo..I thought u was my friend''

Lol.....its fine i said laughin....

''You look just like her, you'll see in a minute, I am meeting her here for a coffee'' she told me, her face was crimson....

Off she went swiftly, to wait for her frend, i shouted after her to have a good day....she turned and gave me a quick smile....lol

funnily enough, she didnt wait long and wandered off in the opposite direction....obviously got the wrrong time as well as the wrong person!!!!      ( embarassment got the better of her )  Bless

What a long day again!!!

17 hrs

Well i could say i was knackered, but tbf...i think i've gone past tired

Luckily i've never needed much sleep, which is a blessing with 5 children that didnt need much either!!!   but just lately i have been feeling like i could do with a nap in the afternoon...especially after starting this job!!!!

  could av something to do wiv being the wrong side of 50 as well...we all think we can just carry on like when we was 16 but its inevitable...somethings got to give...

6.15. the alarm went off....down 3 flights of stairs to put the kettle on...back up one to wake my lad for work...continue back up to the top for a 2mins shower...( ok 5 mins ) back down ...stop off to shout the lad again who's still snoring...kitchen...make a cuppa...quickly throw a ham sandwich 2getha for lunch,  scold me throat with the hot tea and back up the stairs...And there's more....

   

Make up ..deodarant...oh ye teeth...uniform...hair up...nearly there....back down 3 flights...not forgetting to shout son on way....check for change for parking meter...

I'm off now ...its 6.55 and DONT GET GOING BACK TO SLEEP!!!!!    

Shout to husband to get young fella up for school and pull the door to behind me..

AS per....loads of traffic even at this time....35 min journey that is gonna take nearly an hr!!!!

why do people crawl along at 25 miles an hr...surely they have somewhere to b if they r up at his unGodly Hour...'Stay in bed n stop f*****g holdin evry 1 up!!!'

Sights to behold....shes eating a banana...shes putting her mascara on ( watch out tor the potholes missis)_....God forbid hes avin a shave...( dont know how hes managing not to tip his water all over the car...lol, careful not to cut ye throat....and of course every one is txtin or makin calls..       .( still an offence...not that u'd know it....).

so i get a break...dual carriage way ahead...must get a move on....cant b late.....now is this 60 or 70 MPH ?????  <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

arrive on car park...feed the meter and do a spot of power walkin to work...
time for a quick coffee...8.00am and we're off...post to do, 2moros clinic to be printed...calls to answer...no rest for the wicked, lenses to be posted out...no shows to be chased...great its lunchtime..
50 mins later back behind the counter...smilin..happy to help!!!!

 A smile back wouldnt go amiss...Jesus Christ!!!!  catch up on a few more queeries!!! and i use the term loosely.....time for a bit of training..(cuz i'm still on probation ) and its nearly 5....Home time..   .( only get one break and thats lunch...no mornin or afternoon breaks!!!   ) so 2 say i cud murder a coffee is an understatement  rush bak 2 the car and im soon back on the way home...<<<<<<<<<<<<<.lots of 5 o'clock traffic, but hey i'm on the waay home....whos bothered
flickin through the stations for my favourite songs...'Steamy windows'...put the wipers on  lmao, I'll drive all night '  for a Costa light....lol

back home n the race is on....food to sort,,,clothes to put in the washer, bit of tidyin round...quick chat wiv me boys...And there's more.....time for a splash in the shower...prepare sandwiches for 2moro....Nice cuppa....

Get to the carpark....find a good parkin space(may take a while)...chek...room to open doors  and  get out!!  remmber to pik up fone....?????   wheres the fone ???  s**t...no it must b here, i was just speakin on it....(  NO   not to the Lord!!!   that wud b silly ) oh well....lipstik  chek  bag chek   purse chek....look for that fone wen i get out......clunk...S**t   There is is...lol   was on my lap!!!!  Thats what happens wen i try 2 multi-task...give me strength.....

Oh wel good excuse for a nice Costa...then shoppin....one at a time of course   lol   x
