Day 3 in Cyprus.....Walked my legs off

So today we have had the pleasure of walking 8 miles of this beautiful coastline.. and it is breathtaking..

That's not to say that our own coasts are not amazing too...

we also  have some breathtaking areas in the UK... just a pity we dont have better weather so as we would have more days to enjoy them....

 the light house .round the coast toward Kings Avenue...... to the brand new shopping centre which is very modern and cosmopolitan....... stopping for a very well earned refreshment at 'two for tea' on kings avenue... lovly ..one of 3 in the pafos area. 

  

 in complete contrast... we stopped to look at the amazing Archaeological ruins which is situated just off the harbour....i would liked to have spent more time here....but due to other commitments wasnt possible....

Yes my legs and feet are sore still...not the right foot wear on !!!....  but my heart is gladdened to bursting...so much beauty and history on this little island.... definitely island of love 

I think my hubby was sick of hearing ... how beautiful....   lol

Our busy day was ended with a Chinese meal in a immaculate establishment called The Imperial in paphos harbour..

And although in my opinion ( which is not necasarily an expert opinion ) it wasnt particularly authentic....it WAS very busy...very friendly and food was delicious....

The beauty of this island...day 2

2nd day and the sun has got her hat on...

 Breathtaking ...no other words for the beautiful coastline of Cyprus




So we decided to walk in to pafos across the coastline...
 A good stretch of the legs 
( my muscles are still aching from.  yesterdays walk... )
( About 20-25 mins along get the beach or an hr if u keep stopping to admire the beautiful sights !!  About 15 minutes walk if you take the road route....perfectly safe...even in the evening )






But worth every minute, soaking up the sights whilst the warm winter sun glistens across the  crystal clear waters gently bathing  the rocks in white foam as the tide comes in.



And there's more...there is always more beauty to behold on this beautiful island at every turn.....

Not yet lunch time but already an odd few fisherman patiently playing the waiting game...lines poised across the craggy rocks....baskets sat alongside.

I truly believe i could just keep walking and walking and never tire of seeing the breathtaking beauty which is Cyprus......The Lord did well when he made this beautiful Island

Yes I think its fair to say I'm in love.....
