Yeah she made quite a few mistakes......and its fair to say, that unlike most people, when she made one, it was usually a great big f****r!!!!!
By all accounts my Mam n her sister were out goin n confident even as children, born into a good family where both parents worked, where they didnt go short of much.
Teenagers in the late 50's early 60's.....
Honky Tonk Women.....Pretty Woman....I think this about sums them up.....
Typical of a lot of youngsters in the 60's....
She was super slim with long slim legs, she would wear mini skirts, they should never of been called called skirts...more like a belt..lol...i remember her telling me they were 12" from waist to hem !!! She loved being out partying....havin fun....she was the life n soul of the party....heads would turn when she walked down the street.....
She was wild and free spirited with a sharp tongue that wasted no time in telling people exactly what she thought of them...which didnt always go down well with people..including frends n family alike......but that did not worry her in the slightest.....Pretty n Proud ( and theres was nothing they could do about it !!!! )Her love of partying and the hi-life, low life idiot partners...drink n fags.....was eventually goin to be the down fall of my beautiful Mam...albeit a slow process....
But believe me when i say.....she had very few regrets....she told me a few years before she died
''if i never had another drink again and never went to another party again.....i would of had more than my share of both....''
